Child Protection Policy
The following safeguarding principles apply to all activities delivered by, or in association with, Learning Through Action personnel:
- All Learning Through Action staff in contact with children and other vulnerable people are only employed subject to up-to-date Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure checks
- Any suspicion or disclosure of abuse from participants will be reported to designated personnel and a school's or social services' child protection procedures will apply
- All participants in projects/workshops will be treated with respect and difference will be positively valued.
- Participant's names (first name only) will be used in evaluation reports, only with the permission of the participant and their parent or carer.
