Other Workshops

We are constantly on the alert to identify topical need for new interactive learning workshops and lesson support projects.

We always WELCOME SUGGESTIONS from teachers, parents, young users and others.

Feedback Needed Please: We are exploring ideas for two workshop scenarios focused on CLIMATE CHANGE and the effects of GLOBAL WARMING: one for delivery in primary schools and the other for secondary age students. We are also seeking corporate sponsors for both these new projects to help subsidise delivery costs to make them affordable to schools. We need feedback to help us assess potential demand, and suggestions regarding specific content.

After very nearly a quarter century of doing what we do, we have a 'storeroom' of workshops on a range of still topical subjects that can be readily made available: if there's a topic that could interest you, why not ask us what we can do for you?

The following are 'active' workshops presently available, on request, which we have not featured elsewhere on this website:

"LISTEN UP!" - for reception and Years 1 and 2

With the help of a role-bank of life-size doll characters your selection of topics is addressed and illustrated, for example 'Listening to Instructions', 'Fussy Eating', 'Allergies', 'Behaviour', 'Bullying', 'Keeping Safe', etc, etc.

"PRESENT YOURSELF" - age 15+

Making the best of yourself for work and college interviews;

"ONE STEP AT A TIME" - age 8 to 10+

Citizenship – rights and privileges, responsibilities and relationships – to others and to our environment;

"WHAT'S STOPPING YOU?" - age 11+

Challenges students to think about their learning, their relationships and their future;

"RIGHTS NOW" - ages 11 to 16+

Raises awareness of human rights by exploring historical and contemporary issues. Students are encouraged to examine their attitudes to people in their own school and community.

"DIFFERENCES" - years 5/6/7

Aims to give students a better understanding of the many ways people are different; racial/cultural/physical/and the importance of their response in the treatment of others.
